J. Martin English, M.D., is highly trained in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery and is a diplomat of the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Dr. English has built a successful practice on the belief that applying superior technical expertise while providing the best patient care offers the highest quality patient experience.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. English graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1981 in the top five percent of his class. Dr. English's academic accomplishments were recognized by his election to the medical national honor society - Alpha Omega Alpha. After medical school, Dr. English completed eight years of residency training in General and Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.

Dr. English entered private practice in 1988. For many years he remained active in academic Plastic Surgery as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. English is also a past editor and author of Selected Readings in Plastic Surgery, an educational publication read by plastic surgeons worldwide.
